Press & Reviews
ETUDE 2008 Pinot Noir Heirloom Carneros
Wine Advocate Rated 93 The 2008 Pinot Noir Heirloom was bottled with no fining or filtration (as were most of its siblings). Made from old Pinot Noir selections (hence the name), it displays a deep ruby/purple color along with sweet aromas of blueberries, boysenberries, blackberries, forest flora and Asian spices. This full-bodied, lush, complete Pinot should drink nicely for 7-10 years. (Robert Parker) December 23, 2010
ETUDE 2008 Pinot Noir Deer Camp Carneros
Wine Advocate Rated 91 ...Promising... It exhibits abundant minerality, tighter, harder tannins and plenty of licorice, underbrush and mossy red and black fruit characteristics. This powerful 2008 needs 1-2 years of bottle age and should drink well for a decade thereafter. (Robert Parker) December 23, 2010
ETUDE 2007 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Wine Advocate Rated 92 A delicious, fruit-forward, opaque ruby/purple-colored, elegant wine displaying lots of blackberry and cassis flavors. A blend of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc, it is a round, generous, seductive red dominated by blue and black fruits. Enjoy it over the next 10+ years. (Robert Parker) December 23, 2010
ETUDE 2008 Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon
Wine Advocate Rated 92 The 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville is a generous inviting wine revealing a little more gravitas and personality than the Napa Valley bottling. Dark, red fruit, licorice, smoke, spices and menthol are some of the notes that are layered into the rich, expansive finish. The 2008 is fairly accessible despite the slightly firm tannin. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2018. (Antonio Galloni) December 23, 201
ETUDE 2008 Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon
Wine Advocate Rated 92+ The 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon Rutherford is a huge wine layered with expressive dark red fruit, spices and flowers. It possesses striking gorgeous inner perfume and an attractive fleshiness in a juicy, up-front style that is well suited to near-term drinking. The Rutherford captures a great balance between fruit and structure. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2018. (Antonio Galloni) December 23, 2011
